Principal
Karin Jones has been principal at Chinook Middle School since 2014. Previously, Karin served as principal at Des Moines and McMicken Heights Elementary Schools in Highline.
Karin began her career teaching in elementary and middle schools in California and Washington. In Highline, she taught 5th grade at Madrona and was an instructional coach and educational assistant at Seahurst.
Karin grew up in Highline, attending Normandy Park Elementary, Sylvester Middle School and graduating from Highline High School in 1981. She holds a BA in education from Western Washington University and a MA from Central Washington University. She earned her administrator certification from WWU in 2006.
